Two outbound flows
A seller may send prepared inventory to FBA while also serving orders from its own ecommerce store. FBA inbound units and direct-to-customer orders require different data, labels, packaging and transport. Decide which SKUs and quantities belong to each channel before stock is received.
Stock and order controls
Define how stock is allocated, how direct orders reach the 3PL and how returns are handled. Halcyon can review Spanish fulfilment and Amazon Prep as separately scoped services. Automatic store integrations are in development; agree the practical data exchange before launch.
Build a usable brief
Provide SKU list, stock split, FBA shipment frequency, ecommerce orders, product constraints and packaging requirements. Ask for separate charges for receipt, storage, unit prep, pick and pack, materials and carriage. No performance or platform integration is assumed until the commercial and operational details are confirmed.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use one inventory count for both channels?
Only if allocation and stock updates are agreed; FBA-bound goods and direct-sale goods have different handling.
Does Amazon Prep include customer returns?
Returns for direct sales require a separately agreed fulfilment process.
