Prep and fulfilment are different
Amazon Prep covers unit preparation, labels, protective packaging and box preparation for an FBA inbound shipment according to the seller account’s current requirements. After acceptance into FBA, Amazon handles its own network’s storage and customer fulfilment.
An external fulfilment operation instead processes customer orders from a store or other agreed channels. State the Amazon marketplace, product category and whether you need a one-off shipment or a repeat process.
Receive and prepare inventory in Spain
The seller or supplier sends goods to a receiving address confirmed by Halcyon. Define product references, counts, existing packaging and the work to be performed before shipping stock.
Whether a unit needs a barcode, bag, protection or bundle treatment depends on the product and current Amazon requirements for that shipment. The seller supplies the instructions and labels from its own account.

Hand over an inbound FBA shipment
The seller creates and checks the shipment workflow in Amazon, while the physical goods and boxes must correspond to the plan. Confirm box contents, identifiers and carrier arrangements before dispatch.
Physical prep does not replace Seller Central configuration or guarantee that Amazon accepts a restricted product. Consult the destination marketplace’s current help pages for your category.

Instructions by SKU and shipment
There is no universal prep rule for every product. A unit may need a visible identifier, protective material or category-specific treatment depending on packaging and destination marketplace. The seller should consult current account instructions for each SKU and provide them before work is scheduled.
Unit and box quantities in the shipment workflow must match the physical goods. If the plan differs from the received cartons, resolve the discrepancy before final labels are printed or onward carriage is booked.

FBA versus store orders
For FBA, the operator’s output is an inbound shipment prepared for Amazon’s network. For a merchant’s own store, each outbound parcel corresponds to a shopper order, with different recipient data, packaging and returns handling. A brand may need both flows, but should allocate stock and costs clearly.

Common checks before dispatch
Review SKU references, quantities, label legibility, box contents and packaging condition. Decide who supplies consumables and creates shipment documents. A sealed carton with incorrect data can require reopening and rechecking.
