First lot
A brand has a few SKUs and needs to confirm labels and instructions before its first shipment. It can request only the missing tasks.
Amazon Prep covers the work needed to ready products for the Amazon inbound flow: identification, labelling, protection and box preparation as applicable. Halcyon reviews the work in Spain for sellers with one-off or recurring lots before dispatch. Select tasks and quantities below for an indicative estimate.
The preparation instructions depend on the product and the shipment. We agree what must happen per unit, box or pallet, review the information you provide and arrange release of the prepared lot. You remain responsible for checking current Seller Central requirements.

Outsourcing preparation helps when you lack the space or staff to inspect lots, label units and prepare boxes. It also helps with several suppliers, SKUs or campaigns. The scope can cover a single task or several phases.
Agreeing labels, protection and grouping by SKU removes ambiguity once goods reach the warehouse. We set out the scope in writing before launch.
We define tasks before goods arrive. Exact instructions and costs are confirmed in a proposal so that no lot reaches us without an operating reference.
Share SKUs, units, arrival format and intended Amazon destination.
Provide applicable inbound instructions, labels and necessary data.
Confirm tasks per unit, box or pallet, materials and receipt terms.
We associate the goods with your reference and check the agreed scope.
The contracted tasks are performed before the agreed release.
We coordinate delivery to the carrier or next point in the proposal.
The combination may include identification, photos or scans, labelling, bagging, bundling, visual inspection or preparing boxes and pallets when agreed. Not every SKU needs every task. Consult the inbound instructions before ordering unnecessary work.
| Level | Possible work by instruction |
|---|---|
| Unit | Identification, required FNSKU or other label, bag or protection as instructed. |
| Box | Unit grouping, carton labels, packing and agreed count. |
| Pallet or lot | Operational consolidation, parcel identification and preparation for agreed dispatch. |
A correctly prepared lot starts with SKU-level instructions. This matrix shows what unlocks each phase and what to clarify when information is missing. Not every product needs every task.
| Stage | Information needed | If missing or different |
|---|---|---|
| Before arrival | SKUs, expected units, delivery format and operational contact. | Agree identification so cartons and sellers are not confused. |
| At receipt | Count and external condition compared with the lot details. | Clarify visible differences before proceeding with unauthorised work. |
| Per product | Applicable labels, bags, protection and grouping instructions. | Pause the affected task and request missing data or material. |
| Before dispatch | Carrier labels and agreed handover plan. | Confirm dispatch details and current inbound requirements. |
An exception should not lead to the same preparation being applied to every unit. The next step depends on the missing detail or material.
Goods are identified by reference and the agreed work is performed. Dispatch follows the confirmed scope.
We identify the difference and consult the seller before changing tasks or using further materials. Corrections and costs are agreed.
Responsibilities should be settled before receipt. The seller has the Seller Central information; Halcyon performs only the preparation and dispatch agreed.
| Party | Information or work |
|---|---|
| Seller | SKUs, quantities, current instructions, labels and shipment details; approval of changes. |
| Halcyon | Agreed receipt and identification, contracted tasks and coordinated handover. |
| Amazon | Inbound requirements and the decision to accept inventory into its network. |
Halcyon prepares stock before handover to the agreed carrier or channel. Amazon sets inbound requirements and, once inventory is accepted into FBA, runs its own storage, order handling and FBA-related customer processes. Final acceptance is Amazon’s decision under its current rules.
Halcyon: agreed preparation and dispatch. Amazon FBA: inbound receipt and its subsequent processes after accepting inventory.
The calculator above lets you explore selected tasks. For a full quote, we need quantities by SKU, dimensions and arrival condition, work per unit or box, materials, destination and frequency. Receipt, any storage and carriage are clarified separately where relevant.
Back to calculatorTotal unit count does not describe the job on its own. Separate the levels before comparing quotes.
A brand has a few SKUs and needs to confirm labels and instructions before its first shipment. It can request only the missing tasks.
A SKU arrives several times a year. Its instructions should remain identifiable, while Amazon changes are checked for each shipment.
Cartons from different suppliers arrive on separate dates. Agree references, preparation timing and any temporary storage.
At setup, agree which information will be shared and through which channel, without assuming a dashboard or integration that has not been contracted.
